Ljubljana city tour and boat cruise

We will have a guided visit of Ljubljana, the city that is cultural, financial and industrial centre of Slovenia. There is also a beautiful medieval castle that we are going to visit. We will reach it with a short funicular ride.

From there you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the city and the surrounding nature. We will see the old town with its medieval and baroque parts and the most important sights, such as Prešeren Square, Robba Fountain, City Hall, Dragon Bridge and the Cathedral. Walking along the banks of Ljubljanica river, we will reach the Congress Square (Kongresni trg) where we will see the exterior of the University and Slovenian Philharmonic buildings.

We will enter the National and University Library – it is one of the works of the architect Jože Plečnik whose various urban projects have turned the city into a form of artwork. We will pass next to the Parliament, National Museum and National Gallery until we reach the beautiful Tivoli Park.

We will conclude our tour taking a boat cruise along the river Ljubljanica. In your free time we will show you where you can enjoy the typical Slovenian food
